Yes, I do author visits! As a picture book author, award-winning poet, musician and former
piano teacher, I enjoy getting kids excited about the writing process using story, poetry
and music. I am a former Music Librarian at the Boston Conservatory and taught piano for
many years. I have a BA in English and an MS in Library and Information Science.
I offer the following types of visits:

Creating Larger Than Life Characters
Exercise Your Imagination Through Poetry
My assemblies and workshops recognize the Common Core state standards, especially as
they apply to language arts.
